Our Pet of the Week, LIZZY!!

I and my wonderful caretakers at the Shelter would appreciate it if you’d take a moment to SHARE this post…

Remember, by adopting, you’re not only saving a life, but you’re also gaining a loyal companion who will love you endlessly.

Lizzy can overflow with fun and excitement and that’s why the volunteers love her!

She is affectionate, and is doing a good job working on her manners too!

She will be a cheerful, cuddly, curious companion to anyone who is interested in those personality traits in a pooch.

If that’s you, come meet this good girl!

Any questions can be answered by calling (828) 456-5338 Ext. 2 or by stopping by the HCAS Adoption Center.

About Lizzy’s photo-shoot buddies…
Lyla Bible, Animal Services Enforcement Supervisor – I have been with the department coming up on 4 years. Some of the fun aspects of my job are that I have the opportunity to work with all different types of animals, which is something I have wanted to do since I was a child.Everything from dogs, cats, goats and pigs to raccoons, opossums and the occasional snake. I really enjoy being able to assist and educate the public on proper care for their animals, and helping reunite lost pets is always a good feeling. I have been lucky to be in the right place at the right time to find and catch some dogs that had been lost for several days or more.
Tommy Long, Haywood County Commissioner – Tommy Long is a well-respected member of the Haywood County community, with a long history of public service. As a native of Bethel and a graduate of Pisgah High School, Tommy has deep roots in the area and a strong commitment to its residents. Tommy has served as a Haywood County Commissioner, working to ensure that the county government is responsive to the needs of its citizens.
