Working in a county shelter, we never know, what will come through our doors. In the later part of December, we recieved a total of 5, severely emaciated dogs, by confiscate.
We’re not here to judge. We’re here to help them forget.
Chaos was so frail and weak, upon arrival, he couldn’t stand. He had to sit or lie down to eat.
His sunken eyes and frail body has turned into a absolutely stunning creature. Chaos is the last of the 5, still being housed with us.
It’s time! He’s ready to roll. He’s a happy, healthy boy, that’s patiently waited, to be well enough to be adopted. Truly, this boy will melt your heart.
HCAS Staff Diary excerpt;
Hi! This is my good buddy Chaos. He’s a Staffy mix, fairly new in town, and is looking for some roommates. This super friendly guy is estimated to be around 2-3 years old, and weighs in at about 45 lbs. Energetic, but mostly in short bursts; when it’s time to relax, he’s only happy to oblige. His interests include: reading and analyzing the U.S tax code, films of the French New Wave, Scotch whiskey, the New York Times crossword, and uh… fetch apparently. Who knew?
