Zeda is a young, adult female, medium hair cat. She is dainty, energetic and likes to keep her fur clean.

Zeda is still with us because of her condition. Zeda is very adoptable, very friendly, loves attention and people, but her condition scares people away. She has what we call rodent ulcer in layman’s terms, in medical terms it is called Eosinophilic granuloma complex. Zeda manifests her ulcers on her upper lips and neck. She has had antibiotic shots and steroid shots to help combat the effects of the complex. She needs rest, low stress, and an inside home.

Eosinophilic granuloma complex is very manageable as long as owners are aware of what to watch for and get treatment immediately if a flare up occurs.

Once the flare up has gone down and healed she may never have another outbreak or she could get outbreaks regularly. Keeping her immune system strong and her condition managed means she may live a long healthy life.
