PLEASE HELP US HELP DASH! 🐾

PLEASE HELP US HELP DASH! 🐾 He’s been at the shelter since May 2024. Because of all the energy in his little body, Dash is going “kennel crazy,” which means he isn’t able to burn off all his energy every day, leading to mental fatigue and decline. He needs someone to help him run and play to his heart’s content in a home! If you or someone you know is interested in adopting or fostering, please contact HCAS at 828-456-5338, and we’ll help you out!

💖 Dash Needs a Forever Home! 💖

Meet Dash, a lovable 1-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier with a heart of gold. He’s a sweet, playful boy who’s ready to find his forever family.

🌟 Dash’s Energy:

Dash is a high-energy pup who needs an active owner who can keep up with him. He’s not a fan of other dogs or small kids, so he’d thrive in a single-dog home where he can be the center of attention.

🐾 Dash’s Journey:

Dash came to HCAS after a tough start in life. He was emaciated, had skin conditions, and was unfamiliar with socialization. But with love, care, and a healthy diet, he’s blossomed into a happy and playful pup.

❤️ Why Choose Dash?

• Resilient: Dash has overcome adversity and is thriving.
• Loving: He’s affectionate and enjoys playtime, walks, and tug-of-war.
• Well-Adjusted: He’s adapted well to shelter life and is eager to find a home.

🏡 Dash’s Ideal Home:

• Active Owner: Someone who can provide him with plenty of exercise and playtime.
• Single-Dog Home: Dash would prefer to be the center of attention.
• Patient and Loving Owner: Someone who can help him make good choices and introduce him to the “real world” with patience.
