Hi there! My name is Slick!, and I recently went on a fantastic field trip with HCAS Adoption Counselor Deb Hermida. Boy, did we have a blast! Did you guess where we were?
Looking forward to meeting you!

Dear Abby,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Slick, and I find myself in a bit of a predicament. You see, I’ve been hanging out with my friends at the shelter for a while now.
The shelter folks tell me I’m a black Pit Bull Terrier mix, around 7 years old. But you know how it is, age is just a number, right?
Anyway, here’s the scoop: I’m all about the fun-loving energy. Hiking, jogging, running β you name it, I’m in! And I’ve got this thing for taking leisurely walks, too. You know, to soak in all the smells of the world.
But what I really want is a family to call my own. Someone to take me on adventures, share some love, and maybe teach me a trick or two. I’m all ears and eager to learn.
Oh, and here’s a little insider info: the Shelter Staff and Volunteers LOVE me. They say I’m a good boy, and who am I to argue with that?
Mrs. Deb even says I’m a great car rider and loved my Field Trip with her. How’s that for a glowing review?
So, dear Abby, if you or any of your readers are looking for a loyal companion, swing by HCAS 453 Jones Cove Rd, Clyde. You won’t regret it. And hey, if you need more info, just ring up the adoption center at 828-456-5338, option 2.
Can’t wait to meet my forever family. Thanks for lending an ear, Abby.
Yours truly,
Slick
